This is a great and honest question. And the answer to this is to accept all possible outcomes. If you did something that you feel is beneath you, had a moment of weakness, hurt someone, or worse - understand that there are three judgements. The first judgement is that of the world, how society at large and human law see your wrongdoing. I can't give specific advice on how to address this because I don't know the context of where you live. In most places, human law is so regressive and degenerate that sometimes it can also be immoral. The second judgement is that of yourself, how you see your wrongdoing, how you judge your own behaviors and whether you're able to forgive yourself or not. This is often the most painful one, especially if you're trying to be a good person but made a mistake. The third is that of universal, divine judgement - how creation itself judges your actions, and how your life or grander destiny is changed by your behaviors. You will have to make peace with all three of these judgements, and accept the most logical and drastic outcomes of all three. Once you have accepted your three eventual fates - you will be able to resume your life with a sense of normalcy again and cross the grief barrier. If you can make amends, great. If your wrongdoing is irreversible, according to your own conscience and intuition, then you must pay homage to who you wish to be by trying to improve yourself and do better next time, perhaps not cause as much pain or suffering, ideally to avoid it altogether. These are all lessons of life and they are held back by fear and grief. Fear of consequence and grief of losing our past identity. Mentally, spiritually, accept your punishment, whatever it may be and throw yourself into the arms of the grander judgement of the universe. The victim of your wrongdoings might be unable to forgive you, this is fine. Firstly, forgive and reforge yourself, walk fearlessly into the consequences, and see how everything else unfolds. I have never seen the universe be cruel to anyone. The true master of this world is not cruel, nor does he need to be "just". The master of this world is an all-wise teacher, and once he has imparted his lesson, the rest will fall back into place. There is nothing to be afraid of, not public persecution, not pain, not punishment, not even death. Cast away your fear of everything, play these events out in your mind's eye, feel all the emotions that come with it, be it fear or anxiety, and become accepting of them happening at any moment of your life. Accept any and all persecution that can be enacted upon you. Once you've forgiven yourself, and bettered yourself as a result, you can walk into even your most hellish experiences with a clear and focused mind. Whatever happens, you are no longer enslaved by your grief. This is a decision one can, and should, make - if they wish to better themselves and serve the greater destiny of this world. ![[IMG_3184.jpeg]]
