Restriction is ineffective as a preventative measure. In society, in politics, in communication, in law - everywhere. Humanity, in time, will learn this - either the hard way or the not-so-hard way. Do a thought experiment with me: Find the most vulgar, disgusting thought you have. Really put it in there, imagine it clearly. And try to restrict yourself from thinking it now. And every time you're on the brink of seeing it again - shut it out. You think you got rid of the thought by having restricted it? Or has it simply been buried in the subconscious? How will that thought now manifest elsewhere - on the body, on the mind, on the mood and temperament? Now scale that effect up to humanity as a whole. You suppress a thing, you restrict it - it will appear elsewhere symptomatically. > Uncle, I see myself failing with lust endlessly and I understand what you mean. What else I do then? Men who are lustful are incapable of expressing and playing out that lust to the degree they wish. Lust comes from unfulfilled, primal desire. It is unhealed or unaddressed sexual frustration - one's inability to express their sexuality fully. If the act falls short of the idea (and/or expectation) - it will never be fulfilled. Play it out in a healthy and safe manner to the degree you truly need to and see it disappear forever from your thoughts. See [[Deprivation & Depravation]]
