But they tragically misunderstand my thesis. My thesis is not that belief manifests reality. My thesis is that belief sways which reality becomes manifest. These are two functionally distinct practices. To answer their quote: "This existence is vile and disgusting and whatever created it needs to pay - to be thrown into the biggest, darkest pit, never to be seen or heard from again." -> We created this world. -> We threw ourselves in it. So your aim is regressive because your aim is to destroy yourself. The more one denies this truth, the greater will be the suffering they inherit. You send a bee out into the world - it will find a field of flowers and create from it beauty. You send a drain fly out into the world - it will find fecal matter and piss and spread it everywhere else it goes. And so it will be convinced that the world is a disgusting place.
