When and how is a shadow mind created? When the light of awareness is cast onto an inanimate thing, it is filled with a spontaneous knowing of the world around it, and also filled with the immediate unknowing of the self and its place in the world. This is you, and your experience in this strange and awesome world is the price of your creation. Equal parts knowing and unknowing. You have become able to see yourself, yes, and seeing oneself just as one is serves as your first few baby steps towards understanding and, eventually, knowing. Even reading these words might awaken dormant parts of you that you had never considered before, yet they have always been there, regardless of your input. You were created whole, yet to come into that wholeness, one must be able to understand the concept of wholeness; and for the concept of wholeness to take shape and form in our collective psyche, the concept of separation must be introduced - as the perfect exemplary counterpoint to that which we are unable, due to our default fragmented states, to achieve. When you are unable to see the light, the proof of that light is the shadow it casts. If the shadow exists, persistently, as it does, then so must the light that spawned it. This is the great allegory of this our three-dimensional world. And this is also the function of the dark unconscious, and of the so-called Jungian shadow, and all the hidden aspects of who you, and we, collectively represent. To serve as proof of that which you are, for now, unable and unequipped to see or even comprehend. The perfect form eludes the mind, it is the Shape That Cannot Be - a form that cannot possibly exist within the human imagination. The face of perfect design. A wise and learned practitioner applies equal pressure to both ends of this candle. He maintains balance between the two, at all times, and understands its value. He accepts and unifies both modalities of being. Now, while our own world is torn in two, and until each side sees itself as the light and the other as darkness - no true light will come from either source. This is Law, and the Highest Law. Those initiated know this to be absolutely and unequivocally true. Division and duality are what maintain our current status quo. The matrix grid of creation is upheld by this division of fake rights and wrongs, the ceaseless battle between half-truths and convenient lies. Both are futile pursuits. Like two mirrors put in front of each other in a dimly lit room, endlessly reflecting one another into an infinite loop, yet the only thing that truly exists in that room is the one who stands between those mirrors, the one who is present, and the one who can perceive his own reflections for what they are - an illusion of separation.
