Never leave trash in the woods if you don't want to attract illness into your life. Every tree, at its root base has a portal. Most of these portals are dormant but can be activated with enough energetic charge. In the past, the roots of a tree - the branch through which life-giving waters enter into the wooden vessel - would be used as gateways and archways into higher states of being. Not only do roots form natural doorways, but they can also be fashioned into them when a tree is felled or falls. This is why great wooden doors lead to spiritually charged places, as they are an invitation to the spiritual energies of the natural world into stone structure - a reenactment of the natural order. Children with ailments would often be instructed to "walk through the waters" of these wooden doorways to enter into a new health and altered states of being. Trees don't grow out randomly either, they create natural pathways that lead to sacred groves. If you are intuitively apt, you will have noticed these pathways on your many walks in the woods. Trees can be linked, electromagnetically, to a person through a variety of means - primarily through physical touch, but energetically, each type of tree is attached to a modality of being - and their temperaments can be borrowed or temporarily inherited. In Caucasian animism and spiritual work, the bark of a tree, usually wrapped around a person's neck - and then wrapped within a piece of clothing usually worn by that same person - both manifests and maintains this link even when physical touch is not present. A piece of bark can be brewed into tea or medicine and directly ingested, of course, but this is for immediate effect - not long-term energetic exchange. A piece of clothing worn by the person seeking a link may also be torn off and tied around a high branch of a specific tree for a similar but lesser effect. Charcoal is also a great conductor of this linking effect - where the sign of the cross (or "Juar") is drawn on the forehead of a healer, and then through the touch of the forehead the cross is transferred to the ailing person, which is then transferred to the tree towards which the healer makes a spiritual journey - using these natural pathways. This is the second-simplest or triangular form of energy-weaving. In the Caucasus, the sign and the symbol of the cross (as in "crossing") and the idea of the icon as a holy symbol (Khat'i) precedes even Christian practice and the crucifixion itself, and signifies the boundary between the material plane and the spiritual realms. But its greatest achievement, unlike most other pagan practices - falling into dark possession, is in the purity and well-intentioned, respectful nature of its work. This is why, in the Caucasus, the idea of absolute unity and Christ's teachings were adopted without remotely any violence - for it was spiritually accepted. Because proper and loving animism does not seek to control the natural but rather work alongside it - In harmonious symbiosis. A great way to distinguish corrupt or twisted practitioners of natural magic from pure practitioners is their means of achieving their desired effects - if their ritual practice involves orgiastic elements and possessive, sexual depravity - this is paganism at its worst. Highly damaging and volatile. If, in rarer cases, of course, the practice involves sexual abstinence and temporary or even permanent celibacy - this implies the kind and proper way of conducting these rituals. It is the ectoplasmic quality of the seed of creation that lives within man that is required for true and direct communion with nature to take place, whilst other means require the services of a mediator spirit - these are usually the culprits behind dark possession. And also why the unmarried ascetic is called more intensely toward this communion. But how the uninitiated practitioner is introduced to their societal role is through, firstly, involuntary visions and intuitive insights. Only after may he partake in the journey of self-purification if chosen to. So it is through the unity of man and wife, the dualistic emanations, through which higher thought and ideal and inspiration is achieved - but through marriage and communion with nature, through personal union - how a link with the spiritual or elemental planes are made manifest. It is exactly when this manner of respectful work is observed that no spiritual harm, nor energetic damages, are experienced through working with the natural order. So know your trees and their natural temperaments, and never disrespect nature, for it is the first and most ancient of bibles: Oak - for resilience and resolve, the returning of strength and agency.  Walnut - for the healing of enduring illness, pain transferral, fertility, physical renewal. Birch - for spiritual protection, aura leakage, energetic exhaustion. Birch trees are the "fortress walls" of nature. Linden - for communal cleansing, communication, clear channelling. Pine and Fir - protective wards against illness. Prevention rather than intervention. ![[IMG_1370.jpeg]]
