One of the sacred mysteries and [[On True Names|true name]] of God is - permission. What is the difference between an idol and divinity? An idol exists within infinity's walls - and it must be created. It is creation, not a creator. It requires worship and homage, without which its power wanes and disappears. Because it never held any true power of its own, it was only an amalgamation of the energy of its servants. Divinity is infinity itself, it needs no creation because it is creation itself. But even above creation lies uncreation. The potential for all being, from which all things are permitted to exist. This potential exists and has existed always - it is both the nothingness and everything at once. It is the underlying mechanism that permits all else into being. Can you imagine infinity? You might attempt to. Can you imagine absolute nothingness? If you could, you would then imagine yourself out of being itself. Because absolute nothingness, the potentiality of whole infinities, is the face of God - and you and I are not permitted to see it.
