Dark and Light are twin sides of the horizon. Order (sanity) and Chaos (insanity) are found on the vertical pillar. The closest thing to good and evil. The true name of Chaos is Order-by-Chaos. (Alpha) The true name of Order is Order-by-Order. (Omega) Both are orderly states that encompass their own selves. The Lower order is one that is primordial and all-devouring, meaning that, within it - everything is reduced to 0, to their utmost null point of expression. All things and possibilities are collapsed to their most ancient forms, the oldest, alpha phases into unaware, subconscious existences. Without the existence of the Lower model, material things would not be able to manifest at all. Higher order is one that is hierarchical and social, aware and conscious. It is so hierarchical, in fact, that its hierarchy is constantly shifting and hidden - no one knows where anyone stands. It is self-sustaining at all times. This is why the Higher order is achieved through surrender, acceptance, non-judgement, tolerance, etc. Because the moment one becomes aware of Higher order, it changes and shifts, and you become unaware of its workings immediately. Each of these two states use the other as a mirror to self-adjust, and the meeting points of these 4 sacred pillars of existence is where we currently reside. Whatever lies in-between, in this grey zone, where the vertical and horizontal mantas interweave - in the center-cross of time - is where we find ourselves, and where our choices are presented and cast. Each step in life allows you to "aim" your spirit to the direction you wish to go, shooting the arrow-sling of the self - through the manipulation of emotion, ego and higher intuition - to hit one's target. It is exactly by attaining balance, at least in our realm, between Light and Dark that one may make the climb to the mountains of sanity, or the descent into the underhills of chaos. Balance, therefore, is a highly volatile and challenging place to find ourselves. Once it is achieved, one finds himself able to truly interface with the objective realities of the world and, ironically and paradoxically, through this newfound knowledge - he is able to transcend and transform the objective reality.
