Ideally, even those being influenced are unable to see the one pulling at the strings of their fate. The true influencers of the world aren't found on TikTok or YouTube, they are the hidden voices working behind the scenes, enacting quantum shifts. Those with the eyes to see and mind to wield wisdom understand that no action is needed to enact great change in our world. A single well-spoken word, a charmer's tongue, a whisper in the right ear at the right time - is enough to shift the scales of being as we know it. That is influence - how much one can achieve with how little. This "shrinking of the self" is a prerequisite for mastery. Every great master is a beggar who has, at one point in time, owned very little, or nothing at all, yet, in parallel, held the world within the palms of his hands. If you focus on who and what you are, you will realize that you are uniquely positioned in life to cast long shadows where it matters. Those who cannot see the light are guided by the shadows it casts, and they are guided towards that which obstructs its source. When one is illuminated by the sun within, the luminescence of his spirit casts its influence upon the material world by just simply existing. The weight of something is defined by the theatrics and energy put behind it. Draw a stick figure, a straight white line on the wall - it is a small nothing. Now do the same, as an artist, as your final word before your departure into obscurity. It will be studied, learnt from, pondered for ages to come - a source of enlightenment and awakening for those uninitiated in the parable, symbolic ways of creation. A student sits in the room for hours on end, waiting, impatient, as the Master of Life walks in and tells him nothing.
