Practice holding basic geometrical figures in your imagination, then overlay them on top of the face you're trying to read. I realise most people don't realise that they can "imagine" a ruler or a perfectly straight line or circle just with their vision - and actually use it. Your eye is naturally inclined to doing this, by the way. Drawing a perfect circle is impossible, but imagining it is rather easy after practice. The eye remembers exact distances and even height or length up to incredible accuracies. Ask any professional sniper or javelin thrower. Quite literally paint the figure over someone's physiognomy using the "pen of your eye". You can also imagine colors next to people's faces (your brain remembers these perfectly too, and can conjure them up whenever you need), and compare them to what you're looking at. You can imagine numbers or even languages and hold them in your mind's eye and do basic math. The more your consciousness grows - the more items you'll be able to "hold" at a time. This is why facereading is an art that demands constant practice. The formulaic version of it is weak compared to this. You acquire holistic vision and the ability to intuitively read once you can master doing this. See? magic!
