Time will surely come and pry you away from whatever you hold dear in your heart. You will have to leave behind everything you love. This is not some theory but a guarantee of life - its most inevitable and inescapable outcome. When your death comes, all that will remain will be the memory of the love you once held. And, in time, that memory will fade as well. Because no single thought, no matter how powerful, is impervious to decay. Go now to the moment of your death - feel what you will be feeling then. Know what it feels like to know that it will all be over. That everything will be taken from you at the moment of your passing. Sit with the feeling. And once you've accepted its somber truth, you should also, in that same breath, come to understand that you have, this whole time, held a secret faith in your heart. A hidden hope, or maybe even a belief, tucked away at the end of your days - that you will meet the ones you love again somewhere. A knowing that you will, through that shared love, find one another again somehow - in a better place and time. It is here that you will understand that you have been, this whole time, a man or woman of faith. Death, as an enlightener, will have taught you that. And you can either know yourself like this, as you truly are, at the moment of your dying - or right now. It is not that crazy then, and not at all ridiculous, to hold faith in a thing so grandiose and magical. From the perspective of death, faith does not seem so ridiculous, does it? I would live and die for that faith. Devote to that belief my whole being. That we will meet our loved ones again one day. That even this world, this Earth, is just a temporary meeting place and time - for those who have loved selflessly and deeply - to be able find one another again. After you die, when all matter disappears - you will know that this world never truly existed. After death, after all is turned to emptiness and dust, all that will remain is belief. And belief will be the only thing that will not cease to exist. Belief in what comes after.
