While incredibly complex, the face is ultimately just geometry in motion. And geometry is encoded information. Information hints at function. Function hints at purpose. And purpose hints at meaning. The strangest thing I've experienced with facereading, to this day, is getting flashbacks from other people's lives whenever I intensify my focus on their physiognomy. It's like the aura expands outwards from their face which is then projected forth into dancing silhouettes of light, imagery and colour - and in that simple moment, you may find yourself catching a glimpse of a person's essence in this very casual and everyday manner. A sort of vision or daydream. You go to a place beyond time and space with this. It is a strange and rather intimate feeling, but also quite dissociative. For maybe just a moment - I /am/ them. I feel what they feel. And sometimes that also means that I think how they think--and /what/ they think. If you and I feel the exact same feelings - we probably also think the exact same thoughts. There is no need for communication if our understanding is complete. That part always catches me off guard. I am convinced, due to this, that telepathy is just an ultra-amplified variation of radical empathy - the sharing of emotions to such intimate degrees that twin lines of thought are unified into a singular state of being/mind. I haven't explored this to its absolute depths yet, of course, because I don't like doing it for long. It gives me a feeling of having woken up from a long stupor or an uncomfortable nap, almost hungover - and I have a life to live, and a rather challenging one at that. Surprisingly, the process itself doesn't feel invasive at all. It doesn't feel wrong - as if we all subconsciously understand that we're broadcasting this information to everyone else around us at all times, innately - it's very "matter of fact". But only certain people with certain predispositions can consciously pick up on it, for sure. I can even sometimes tell if a video is real or fake with this because people in AI generated videos don't carry this effect. I do have to consciously shut this sense out whenever I'm out in public if I'm ever feeling really vibey. It does get too much at times, but only an ungrateful fool would dare to call it a curse. Without normie mode and leaning into the humor of it all though - I would probably have gone mad a very long time ago. ![[IMG_5473.jpeg]]
