Always remember that there is only God's judgement, and that man-made law is a fallacy that is inevitably corrupted and exploited regardless of its level of sophistication.
No other form of judgement exists because no other form of judgement can exist.
"But uncle Jack, shouldn't we punish sinners and criminals?"
Firstly, the criminal has already punished themselves. Get that notion out of your mind. You are incapable of truly punishing anyone. In the grand scheme of punishments, all you can achieve is to do damage to their body, which in and of itself is the body of God.
Secondly, you must learn to differentiate between punishment and isolation and, hopefully - resocialization and healing. You have a responsibility to protect the divine body - the flesh of divinity - your body also belonging to this flesh.
The bread is the skin, the sacrificial meat is the flesh, and the wine is the blood.
Understand what these allegories imply. The answer to your question, after great deliberation and prayer, is isolation. You can isolate a dangerous member of society from society - but you can do so with prayer and love, not with hatred and wrath.
Love and prayer being something that no longer exists in any of our judicial systems.
If you fail to treat even the most dangerous criminal as a family member who is unwell or has been led astray, but instead choose to further his punishment by despicable means - you fail to heal and love yourself.
Most men, including myself, tend to fail this test over and over. And that is why we're still here, and that is why unfortunate things keep happening to us.
