Self-imposed exile is the spiritualist's gift to himself. Because he understands that the world is not malleable to his personal will but rather a constant battlefield of conflicts between everyone else's collective wills. But if he himself becomes malleable in body, spirit and mind - the greater world that exists in his imagination may inhabit him and, through him, manifest and form itself into the lesser material reality. Therefore, the practitioner himself becomes a byproduct of the world he wishes to live in (and to embody), even if that world has not yet come to pass. You cannot advocate for change. You cannot fight a war for it. All you can do is to retreat from participating in its madness. And to fashion yourself in a way that allows you to build your life around your own visions instead of the fears and insecurities the world at large might throw at you - among good and loyal friends, of course. You must become exemplary to yourself, and worthy of your greatest imaginations. This principle is the fundament of my philosophy. He who lives and builds quietly does so without ever even asking for the permission of the world, without any eyes upon him. He is a man free of the judgements, preconceptions and the biased limitations of others. When you build something beautiful and grand - and simply unveil it for the world to see, that world can only surrender to its realness. But whatever is revealed to the world is also what will become consumed and devoured by it - until it has been perfected in absolute isolation. Note how I say isolation and not secrecy. Secrecy is conspiratorial. Isolation, on the other hand, is magical. It is where magic is born and, in our specific type of world, the only setting in which the magical and the miraculous can be achieved and conducted at all. Therefore, the spiritualist's quest was never about knowledge or wisdom or experience - but rather about the fulfillment, happiness and joy the act of combining the abovementioned brings. The understanding that is inherited through them. He who is a truly happy person in an increasingly dark and insane world, capable of enjoying each and every moment, is someone who has finally understood life's greatest lessons. Much of everything, at the end of the day, is about kind and glad days spent with kind and glad souls, and the pursuit of personal betterment and progress. You don't change the world by resisting it. You change the world by making your home a beautiful place. In which the beauty of each door or window is a portal into the new. Into higher states of being. ![[4E615AD8-56C4-44AB-9E89-3704008A724B.jpeg]]
