Blitz poetry, write your own!
It doesn't have to be perfect, nor does it have to be good, as long as it's form the heart. :)
Today's topic is - Death.
"Death is only hated,
When death is close and fated.
Death is fast forsaken,
After the final breath is taken.
Death is then forgiven,
Its memory forbidden,
By those by death so driven,
To whom it's not yet given.
Death is oft protested,
Yet by no mortal bested.
The truth of death attested,
By those by death arrested."
If something in your life is dying - let it die.
The more you hold onto the old, the less you can surrender to the new.
Death is only one symptom of change.
When space is created - it must be filled with something new.
Do not resist the inevitable.
You will not lose yourself.
