Chernobyl was a portal. One of many. A deliberate one, through which a dark and chaotic disembodied force entered into our world and gained access to the collective consciousness. Chaos, too, has an element. Radiation dissolves matter on a quantum level, breaking the atomic bonds of order that keep the world intact - it is then the elemental expression of the forces of chaos in the material realm, its foothold in our world. This is deeper stuff and I don't expect 99.99% to understand but dropping hints about the makeup of the universe for those with eyes and ears to listen and willingness to connect the dots. The battlefield is--and always has been--within the human heart and mind. The metallic shell that was built around the nuclear plant after the alleged accidental disaster is called 'the sarcophagus' for a reason. Humanity thinks that space is the shoreline of our civilization, because humanity does not understand the secret makeup of the universe. We think that the signs of life, both threatening or non-threatening, would surely have to come from the blackness of space. But the shores of our civilization is our consciousness - and any ill-wisher will rather arrive through the penetration and infiltration of our collective consciousness and manifest into the physical-material realm in such manner. Through us. Because bodies are weighted things, and travel takes precious decades. But thought has no travel time, thought is information. In thought, I can be here, on Earth. Or I can be on Mars - in the tenth of a second. The firmament, within this context, serves as the representation of the /inner waters/, the same portal of creation through which a human is gestated and born into the world - through the waters of the womb. Submerging one's body into the external (physical) waters symbolically then is also tied to submerging oneself in the depths of consciousness and beyond the firmament of personal awareness. Here, the initiate unlocks and is exposed to the realm of thought that goes beyond personal imaginations and projections. It is exactly this barrier of consciousness that separates man from the lower end of the dissolution of consciousness. Not into wholeness, mind you, but into the void of uncreation - into order through chaos. Pulling a thing out of the water is pulling dormant memory into awareness. Putting a thing into the water is pushing awareness into dormancy, into unconsciousness. In this manner, that which is submerged is not deleted out of existence but rather is made to /permeate/ the unconscious space. When we are born into this world, we are pulling the memory of our existence into being, into physical observation. We are, each of us, a totem to something that is ancient. What was thought dead or lost to time returns and is slowly reintroduced to the masses. Return of lost memories, the feeling of how life felt before - love, innocence, purity. All who are sensitive will feel the quantum reverberations before it hits. Nostalgia, melancholy, return to a childlike state, one of guiltless innocence. Though your heart might be heavy for a while, it is merely a foundational stepping stone for new beginnings. Magic is slowly being reintroduced into our world, the force of belief brings tangible, material results. Less and less space for anger, hatred, rough attitudes towards life and others. Though it will take many years to reforge our relationship with the "good" timeline, strong inner temples will be built along the way. “What happened to disrupt it?” If you mean what derailed the original timeline - it's a rather complex topic. But primarily the uncontrolled release of radiation. Whenever large doses of radiation escape containment, either through nuclear explosions or accidents - a portal is opened into the subtler spheres of existence. Unseen entities can then enter through and into our world through these lower pathways and integrate themselves into the collective consciousness of humanity. These entities then are able to exert certain influences from this position, as they are disembodied thoughtforms, meaning they have intelligence and sentience (to a degree) without a physical body with which to enact their will, but they can still impress, well, impressions on individual humans with weakened awareness. The Chernobyl incident is one such portal - there is a reason why the protective structure that surrounds the site is called a "sarcophagus", and the last name "Dyatlov" shows up as a leader figure in both this incident and the Dyatlov pass incident, whose team members were also directly linked to another mysterious nuclear incident (Kyshtym, Mayak). There are many things that can derail, delay or splice timelines together - the effect is primarily achieved through the manipulation of public perception and, through that effect, the collective consensus belief system. Vicarious Permission and Collective Will are the twin culprits here, and even these are just words - the actual truth is stranger and has further complexity. Anything quantum-related, in general, tends to carry sophistication beyond simple action-to-result dynamics. And these are rather dark topics, I prefer not to give these too much weight. Though this one in particular seems less harmful to share, it is pretty broad and fantastical in nature, and for those who prefer to not know - it is rather easy to reject or deny.
