Anything that sways in the wind attracts spirits. :) The main sentiment in communication beyond the veil is: "Show yourself. Let your presence be known." Anything that permits that is us choosing to communicate. Especially if it can emit sound. There's a reason why there's always a scene of chimes making funny noises in movies whenenever the main characters approach an abandoned home or shop or etc. Children's attention can be stolen away by it, redirected. If the wind can touch and move it, so can spiritual influences. The placement must be energetically valid and beneficial. Just hang them in a place where they can only be moved and rang by human hands. Like over your main entrance door. But also do not place them in claustrophobic rooms or hard to reach places just to never ring them - it's what most people do. If you don't want spirits 'chiming in' into your daily living. 😁 The incredible movie Hero (2002) shows this effect very well. Whoever shot it knew the rules very well. The emperor is seated in a great hallway with flowing curtains, signifying free-flowing spiritual confluence. Then the curtains are removed as the emperor falls into a more paranoic lifestyle and are replaced with a set of candles that are sat before him. The candles move and sway with the wind, alarming him of danger and lies and offering guidance - as the wind carries the intention of those present.
