I am not a believer of "chakras", "telepathy", "kundalini", "manifestation", "aura", "clairvoyance", etc.
On my path and in my view, formulaic systems can no longer contain the weight of the truths that once birthed them.
These terms no longer apply, and I feel intuitively pulled away from them more and more by the day.
I know, deep down, and I feel that I always have - that these expressions are just that - expressions. Shadows of greater things. Concepts that man once found difficult to give shape to, and to articulate.
My opinion is such that this exact shift in cosmological perspective is the great rift each modern-day psychic must pass.
To come to the understanding that structure is the face of limitation, and to deliver the self from its limited, symbolic expressions.
To come to the final realization that to know something is to strip it of its magic.
That the true nature of knowing is, in fact - unknowing.
That the spiritual seeker can never truly know that which he can bring himself to understand.
And cannot bring himself to understand that which he might know.
The great paradox thus of its nature is that one cannot cage the magical within the boundaries of logic and explanation.
There is no framework that can hold within itself the true visage of the miraculous.
If it can be explained - it is, by nature, no longer that which constitutes magical quality and effect.
The moment it is understood is the moment its true nature dies and wilts away, and is changed into the trivial and the mundane.
A memento.
A symbol of what it once was.
A memory of the greatness it once held.
The new understanding of the mystical and the majestic, and of the miraculous, is that they are permitted to occur only when the human element is not present.
When man looks away, or can bring himself to look away, through the faith of its completion - all miracles are made manifest.
The magician of the future can no longer participate in the casting of the spell, nor can he play conductor of ritual.
He must learn to convene and commune with that which is shapeless - formlessness itself.
One should admire it without seeking to understand it, to ground it into earthly logic - and bind it into the sphere of human limitations.
For man's imagination lags behind - it requires continuity, chronology - the human mind cannot exist in a world without boundary and limitation.
It cannot face (nor fathom) the realness of that which is beyond the world of the egoic, therefore all great concepts, ideas, imaginations must fall into his world.
And the law of man's world is logic.
And that which is both possible and impossible, to man, must be explained and introduced to by logic, through logical means.
To me, there are no symbols, no archetypal meaning attached to any word, sound, shape or form.
All is nothing and all at the same time, in the same exact breath.
So it is not that the magics of old are dying.
But that they were never that to begin with.
Now, a new art is to be birthed into our world.
Not a revisiting of something ancient - but a beginning of something new.
With the rise of technocracy, so too will come the rise of the mystical.
Not a reimagining or rediscovery of that which was once hidden, but an introduction of a new language of being - the means through which man may interface with his own divine nature seamlessly and directly.
One that makes all occulted things impressively obsolete.
I believe all the great masters of our time will have seen it, or shall come to see it - given simple patience and time.
