To be clear, science deals only with the MATERIAL and OBSERVABLE world. It studies phenomena that exist within defined [[Existence]] - things that can be observed, measured, tested, and analyzed through repeatable methods. Because of this limitation, science does not claim authority over every other plane of reality. Its scope is restricted to what can be empirically examined within defined existence. Therefore, the fact that something cannot be observed or measured scientifically does not automatically mean it does not exist. For example, the inability of scientific instruments to observe God does not prove that God is unreal; it simply means that such a reality would lie outside the domain that science is designed to investigate. The scientific method begins with observation or a question, where someone notices something in the world and asks why it happens. From there, the researcher studies the topic, forms a hypothesis (a testable explanation), tests it through experiments, analyzes the data, and then reports conclusions so others can evaluate and repeat the work. If the first step—observation—is removed, the entire process loses credibility because there is no real phenomenon or question grounding the investigation. Without an observation rooted in reality, the hypothesis and experiments are no longer attempts to explain something that actually occurs; they become attempts to justify an assumption. This is a process known as the [[Reification Fallacy]]. In other words, once observation is removed, the entire structure ceases to be science at all - it becomes a hollow exercise in inventing explanations to defend beliefs that never had anything to do with reality in the first place. Big industries bought the educational system which is now teaching pseudoscience. The scientific method still applies to identify what's science. Pseudoscience failed on step 1: It is not observing a natural phenomenon (e.g. "elements", "virus", "amino acid", "DNA" do not exist). ![[Pasted image 20260110185001.png]] All those who have received their "science" certification from an institution have never applied the textbook scientific method to anything they claim to be scientific. Institutionalized scientists are illiterate in science. They are literate in regurgitation. | **Science** | **Pseudoscience** | |---|---| | Follows the evidence wherever it leads | Starts with a conclusion, then works backwards to confirm | | Embraces criticism | Hostile to criticism | | Uses precise terminology with clear definitions | Uses vague jargon to confuse and evade | | Claims are conservative and tentative | Grandiose claims that go beyond the evidence | | Properly considers all evidence and arguments | Cherry picks only favorable evidence, relies on testimonials or weak evidence | | Uses rigorous and repeatable methods | Uses flawed methods with unrepeatable results | | Engages with peers and community | Lone mavericks working in isolation | | Follows careful and valid logic | Uses inconsistent and invalid logic | | Changes with new evidence | Dogmatic and unyielding | The scientific method is a TO DO list: - Controlled experiments with randomisation and blinding. - If there is no documentation of a controlled experiment, then it is not hard science. Therefore, claims that lack documented controlled experiments are not considered hard science, which is why [[Genetic Science]] and [[Evolution]] are fantasy.
